Description

Liquid organic molybdenum fertilizer. Molybdenum (Mo) is a particularly important trace element in the nitrogen fixation process. Through stimulation of chlorophyll synthesis, it enhances photosynthesis and increases starch content, which significantly accelerates reduction of nitrates and protein synthesis, increases the amount of proteins. Molybdenum has a positive effect on the growth of cereals and cumulative plants. A larger amount of molybdenum is needed for the normal growth of legumes than for other plants. In the roots of legumes, nitrogen fixing bacteria use molybdenum in the process of fixing nitrogen from the air. Thus, fertilizing with molybdenum increases nitrogen fixation on the roots of legumes. Molybdenum is an important trace element for many crops. Acidic and light soils are characterized by a lack of this element. Low temperatures and high rates of application of nitrogen fertilizers can lead to the development of molybdenum deficiency. This often happens with intensive cultivation of grain crops, such as winter wheat.
